During the latest thunderstorm we lost some shingles off one of the hip joints on the roof. I contacted Model City as they were close to our location. Michael Taylor came out very quickly to give me a quote on what was really a very small job. Michael was very personable and professional and gave me a reasonable quote. The repair was quickly completed. During the entire process Michael stayed in contact, kept me informed, and made the whole process painless. I was impressed with this level of contact for even a very small job.

I highly recommend Model City Roofing. They did a beautiful job on our house and garage. Preston Woods is the one to ask for - he is so friendly, and also knowledgeable as he is a real roofing pro. He was here to start the job, checked in during the job, and was here for a final inspection when they left. Preston did everything that he promised, plus some more. He was very patient with my 1,000 questions. The crew was also excellent. They were really nice and they cleaned up thoroughly and quickly, and they did an amazing job. After being misinformed by their third party answering service multiple times, the manager of operations had to reschedule due to miscommunication over the course of two weeks. Frank came out and seemed to be aiming to remedy the concerns, though flaked. I was sent a bad quote that would eliminate liability for all events in the course of potential work. Upon notifying Frank that the quote included unacceptable terms, he responded that he would send a proper quote with corrections he following day-- that was on November 17, 2025. This is now December 3, 2025. I will not waste any more time with this company.

Model City Roofing is amazing! We dealt with inspector Mike who took detailed pictures of our existing roof and made recommendations for our reroof. He was thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and answered all questions. Lisa provided the BEST customer service! She keep us in the loop throughout the process and was available anytime we needed to reach out to her with questions. It was like dealing with family. We got our proposal within a few hours of our inspection and once we decided to move forward, we had our reroof scheduled within about 2 weeks. On installation day, project manager Carlton took great care of us. The roof was completed in one day and they were very clean and made sure all debris was discarded. I can’t recommend this company enough! The 5-star reviews are legit. This company is well managed and does quality work. I wish more contractors did business like these folks do. They are the MODEL that other companies should aspire to be. I read all reviews and do my research before hiring anyone and I’m glad we decided to go with Model City Roofing. My only wish is that they did windows and countertops too, as we’re tackling those projects next. Definitely give them a call if you need a new roof because ours is beautiful!

I initially was very unhappy with my insurance company for not allowing me to choose my own roofer. I already had someone I knew & trusted ready to go. However, since it was an insurance claim, I was given no other option & was told Model City would be doing the job. I probably was not the nicest person when I first spoke to Brittany. To make a long story short, they were the kindest, most patient, responsive & professional group I've ever worked with. I can't thank Brittany & Karlton (Project Mgr/Military Veteran) & the group that put on my roof enough for making it a relatively seemless process. Roofing companies can get a bad rap for things that are out of their control, just remember that. Things like the insurance company, the cost of materials & labor, staff available to get the job done. There is also your county inspector who they have to work with & who can put them behind schedule. All in all, everything turned out wonderfully & they totally deserve the high ratings. Very professional and responsive. Initial contact was for roof replacement. Quick appointment for estimate. Reasonable costs, and quick work to finish. Florida weather presented issues along the way, but all impacts handled quickly and professionally. I found 1 issue roughly 1 year later with a drip edge. I contacted them, and again very fast response and the correction/repair made. Very friendly, professional communications at all times.
