I found this company through a google search. They called back quickly and sent out someone the next day. Michael Taylor was the technician that came out, checked out my roof and emailed me a quote that was very reasonable. They were able to fix my roof leak within the week. Very pleased!

I hired Model City Roofing to replace my roof for $8,500 after they had previously repaired about 1/4 of it the year before. Both times, the actual roofing work was solid. The crew did a good job, the roof looks much better, and they cleaned up well afterward. However, after the full roof replacement was completed, I received an unexpected invoice for an additional $1,700 labeled as “supplements.” This charge was never discussed, approved, or included in the original quote. When I questioned it by email, they tried to move the conversation to phone calls. I made it clear I wanted everything in writing, and after that, the requests for the additional payment stopped. So - the workmanship was good, but the surprise billing attempt raises concerns. If you use this company, make sure every cost is clearly documented and agreed to in writing before the work begins and be cautious about any “after-the-fact” charges.

During the latest thunderstorm we lost some shingles off one of the hip joints on the roof. I contacted Model City as they were close to our location. Michael Taylor came out very quickly to give me a quote on what was really a very small job. Michael was very personable and professional and gave me a reasonable quote. The repair was quickly completed. During the entire process Michael stayed in contact, kept me informed, and made the whole process painless. I was impressed with this level of contact for even a very small job.

I called them for Roof inspection since I had little damp patch on my ceiling of my master bathroom. Scheduling and the visit was very well handled by Mike Jones and his team. On the visit, Mike was super helpful, very detail oriented and did a thorough inspection. He found some abnormalities with the the way plumbing boot was sealed and offered to fix it immediately. He did a great job. I would definately use Model City Roofing for any future ask. Thank you Mike.

I highly recommend Model City Roofing. They did a beautiful job on our house and garage. Preston Woods is the one to ask for - he is so friendly, and also knowledgeable as he is a real roofing pro. He was here to start the job, checked in during the job, and was here for a final inspection when they left. Preston did everything that he promised, plus some more. He was very patient with my 1,000 questions. The crew was also excellent. They were really nice and they cleaned up thoroughly and quickly, and they did an amazing job. I’m very happy with my new roof.

After being misinformed by their third party answering service multiple times, the manager of operations had to reschedule due to miscommunication over the course of two weeks. Frank came out and seemed to be aiming to remedy the concerns, though flaked. I was sent a bad quote that would eliminate liability for all events in the course of potential work. Upon notifying Frank that the quote included unacceptable terms, he responded that he would send a proper quote with corrections he following day-- that was on November 17, 2025. This is now December 3, 2025. I will not waste any more time with this company.

Not only did Model City Roofing do an amazing job on my roof and my parent’s roof, they also helped us with providing free roofing tiles for a project. Our neighbor’s mailbox was damaged recently and my husband built a new one for them. It is shaped like a small house and needed authentic roofing tiles. MCR graciously offered to provide the tiles and drop them off to our house! They are absolutely wonderful to do business with. If you are needing a reroof or repairs, definitely give them a call. When researching roofing companies we were impressed with their competitive pricing, customer service, but most importantly our beautiful roof and how well managed the work team was. I called to get a roof inspection because, although I hadn't noticed any problems, I didn't know the age of the roof and it was the beginning of hurricane season. Mike looked up the building permit and told me the age of the roof. He came out the same day, went up on the roof, took photos of any potential problems, and emailed me the photos that same morning. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and didn't try to sell me any unneeded services. I would not hesitate to call Model City again if any problems arise, and I will use them when my roof needs replacement; it was a pleasant, stress-free experience.
