I hired Model City Roofing to replace my roof for $8,500 after they had previously repaired about 1/4 of it the year before. Both times, the actual roofing work was solid. The crew did a good job, the roof looks much better, and they cleaned up well afterward. However, after the full roof replacement was completed, I received an unexpected invoice for an additional $1,700 labeled as “supplements.” This charge was never discussed, approved, or included in the original quote. When I questioned it by email, they tried to move the conversation to phone calls. I made it clear I wanted everything in writing, and after that, the requests for the additional payment stopped. So - the workmanship was good, but the surprise billing attempt raises concerns. If you use this company, make sure every cost is clearly documented and agreed to in writing before the work begins and be cautious about any “after-the-fact” charges.

These guys are the real deal. I got several quotes before selecting MC Roofing, they were by far the best price compared to the level of professionalism. A couple of companies were less expensive but didn't even come close to the level of care that MC Roofing showed. Chris was super responsive during the estimate process and texted me regular updates about when the job would be completed, product delivered, dumpster dropped off etc. He drove out to provide samples of the product and worked with me to select a roof color that would bring everything together. Everything went exactly how he said it would which is rare in the construction business. Frank and the roofers were beyond amazing. Tear off and installed by early afternoon. Not a single nail in the drive. No mess in the bushes and they even trimmed a couple branches for me that were overhanging the roof. The guys on the crew were super nice and kept the work environment clean throughout the entire day. You can tell this is a crew that has done a ton of roofs and has it down to a science. After the job was completed, Frank came back out to do a post job inspection. He walked me through next steps as far as dumpster pickup, inspection and invoicing. Then we walked around the roof together and he answered any questions I had. If you are looking for a new roof don't bother looking anywhere else. Price was great. Sales team was knowledgeable and honest. Install team worked like a well-oiled machine.

I could not be more happy with Model City Roofing. I was out of town when my wife noticed the roof leaking. She called PJ at Model City. PJ promptly came by, did an inspection, and since I was out of town, he tarped the roof to prevent any more leaking. His inspection found that the roof needed to be replaced, and that there was some mold issues because of the leaking. Model City handled finding a specialist for the mold so I didn't have to. The roofers were professional, friendly, and got the job done quickly. Model City also handled all of the paperwork and issues with my insurance company, and they were not easy to work with. PJ was great. He was quick in responding to any issues or questions I had. He was very good at following up to make sure everything was progressing in a satisfactory manner. I would strongly recommend that if you have roofing problems, give PJ a call.

I have a man made pond with a bunch of expensive Koi fish right next to my front door that we were worried would get debris and nails in. Model city roofing provided a screen tarp that allowed the fish to breath but blocked all the debris from getting in the pond. Couldn't be more happy with the way it turned out. My feedback is more focused on Mr. Willis: he was wonderful when he did the initial inspection, very clear on what was needed and the next steps. Here is the unexpected bonus; Nearly a year after the new roof install we had a range hood installed for the gas range/oven and needed a roof vent installed. MCR came out the next day and said, “give us a call and we will be here when you need us’. This was amazing as the contractor installing the hood and piping couldn’t give us a firm date yet. A call a week ahead of time and MCR was there for us, on a Saturday too. Not only did they install the roof vent, they painted it to match the ones they installed on our new roof AND THEN touched up the originals they had put in with the new roof almost a year ago ! From beginning to end and even after the new roof, Model City Roofing and their whole staff have been there, truly an amazing company to work with. There should be a higher rating for them then 5 stars, they should be rated 10 stars for all the have done, professional, kind, courteous, it goes on and on. Thank you MCR.

Very professional and responsive. Initial contact was for roof replacement. Quick appointment for estimate. Reasonable costs, and quick work to finish. Florida weather presented issues along the way, but all impacts handled quickly and professionally. I found 1 issue roughly 1 year later with a drip edge. I contacted them, and again very fast response and the correction/repair made. Very friendly, professional communications at all times.
